A Novena to St. Frances Xavier Cabrini

Though born two months prematurely and sickly throughout her young life, St. Frances Xavier Cabrini accomplished great deeds on three continents (Europe, North America, and South America) through the strength of her faith. The founder of the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Mother Cabrini (as she was known) ministered to Italian immigrants to the United States (and other poor across the country) through the establishment of schools and hospitals. Though born in Italy, Mother Cabrini became a naturalized citizen of the United States in 1909 and the first American saint in 1946.

In this novena to St. Frances Xavier Cabrini, we ask her to intercede for us, so that our prayers may be answered, and that we will understand God's will for our lives.

Almighty and Eternal Father, Giver of all Gifts, show us Your mercy, and grant, we beseech You, through the merits of Your faithful Servant, St. Frances Xavier Cabrini, that all who invoke her intercession may obtain what they desire according to the good pleasure of Your Holy Will.
