Pagan Craft Project Ideas

Many Pagans like to create things with their hands, and as the Wheel of the Year turns, it can help bring us more in tune with the seasons if we incorporate our spirituality into our craft projects. Whether you're looking for home decorating, altar items, or even a few goodies to hang on your walls at home, there are plenty of craft projects you can put together to celebrate each of the different Pagan holidays. Here's a collection of simple and quick craft ideas for all eight of the modern sabbat celebrations!

Samhain Craft Projects

Samhain is a season to honor the dead, celebrate our ancestors, and get in touch with the spirit world as the earth grows colder and dies once more. Yule Craft Projects

Are you ready to deck your halls and walls for Yule, the Winter Solstice? Celebrate the longest night of the year, and the midwinter chilliness, with craft ideas that reflect the themes of the season. Candles, lights, evergreens and firs–even reindeer and snowmen are are appropriate when it comes to your Yule celebrations! Try making a variety of nature-themed ornaments, a Yule log, or even a Pagan variant on the traditional Nativity scene to decorate your yard.

Imbolc Craft Projects

In many modern Pagan traditions, the Imbolc sabbat is a time to honor Brighid, the Celtic goddess of hearth and home. However, this season is also a time of purification and fire. Why not put together some craft projects for your home that reflect those themes? Make a corn doll to represent the goddess Brighid, a Brighid's cross or a priapic wand? If your path focuses more on the fire elements of Imbolc, make your own ice candles and some fire starters to celebrate this wintery sabbat.
