Learn about our Editorial Process Updated on May 27, 2018 Many Pagans like to create things with their hands, and as the Wheel of the Year turns, it can help bring us more in tune with the seasons if we incorporate our spirituality into our craft projects. Whether you're looking for home decorating, altar items, or even a few goodies to hang on your walls at home, there are plenty of craft projects you can put together to celebrate each of the different Pagan holidays. Here's a collection of simple and quick craft ideas for all eight of the modern sabbat celebrations! Put together some of these crafty ideas for your Samhain celebration: felt skull garlands, grave rubbings, pumpkin candles and a kitchen witch are just a few of the projects you can make! Imbolc Craft Projects Use ice and wax to make ice candles for Imbolc. s-cphoto / E+ / Getty Images In many modern Pagan traditions, the Imbolc sabbat is a time to honor Brighid, the Celtic goddess of hearth and home. However, this season is also a time of purification and fire. Why not put together some craft projects for your home that reflect those themes? Make a corn doll to represent the goddess Brighid, a Brighid's cross or a priapic wand? If your path focuses more on the fire elements of Imbolc, make your own ice candles and some fire starters to celebrate this wintery sabbat. Ostara Craft Projects Make a lavender wreath to celebrate Ostara. Jonathan Fong, EHow Ostara, the spring equinox, is a time when the earth is beginning to show signs of rebirth and renewal. Birds are reappearing, small sprouts are poking from the cold ground, and if we're really lucky, the snow might be melting! Welcome back the spring with craft project ideas like seed packet greeting cards, magical crystal Ostara eggs, or our super-popular spring snake wreath! Beltane Craft Projects In some Pagan traditions, Beltane is the season of the lovely, youthful May Queen. Matt Cardy / Getty Images News Beltane, or May Day, is a sabbat that honors the fertility of the earth, the return of spring, and the greening of the land.
