Lisa Chiu is a digital producer for China Global Television Network (CGTN) America. A seasoned journalist with over two decades of experience, Lisa previously reported for The Orange County Register, The Arizona Republic, The Seattle Times, The Center for Public Integrity, and The Sunlight Foundation. She also worked as an editor and fact-checker for The China Daily.
Lisa Chiu earned a Master Arts (M.A.) degree in Journalism and Public Affairs from the American University in 2008. She holds a second Master Arts (M.A.) in International Studies–China from the University of Washington and a Bachelor Arts (B.A.) in Journalism with a minor in Chinese from the University of Massachusetts–Amherst.
