Bible Scripture For Support When Bad Things Happen

There are many bad things that happen in our lives that too often people attribute to fate or destiny. But the Bible actually has other things to say about the bad things that can happen to us and how God is always there to put us back on the right path.

Is It Fate?

Sometimes when bad things happen, we think that it's fate. We think that God destined us for these bad things, which lead to anger. Yet, it's not necessarily that God destined us for bad things. He teaches us that He provides us with support and guidance during the tough times. He provides us with the tools to keep our eyes on Him when bad things happen.

2 Timothy 3:16
"Everything in the Scriptures is God’s Word. All of it is useful for teaching and helping people and for correcting them and showing them how to live." (CEV)

John 5:39

God Supports Us

God reminds us that He is always there to support and guide us when bad things happen. Tough times mean being tough ourselves, and God is there to carry us through. He provides us with what we need.
